Position: WWKC Manager

This is one of the most demanding, challenging yet rewarding jobs as our Resort Managers lead from the front in all aspects of resort life! We are looking for professional, dedicated and highly motivated individuals to lead our teams in resort.

The role of Resort Manager is to deliver the highest standard of customer service to our guests. Working along side the locally run hotel, as well as managing the WWKC team we are looking for individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a resort team.

This is a very challenging position, requiring solid leadership and excellent people and logistical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the crèche and children’s clubs within the Client Hotel or Resort.
  • To be responsible for all necessary day to day administration.
  • To respond in the first instance to incoming enquiries via the resort in a professional and timely manner.
  • To meet with all relevant Heads of Department within the hotel or resort on a regular basis to update them on our service and co-ordinate joint activities.
  • To liase directly with parents of the children who will be attending the clubs both prior to their arrival on site and once at the hotel to ensure a smooth transition to the clubs.
  • To be the visible face of WWKC within the Hotel or Resort.
  • To assist with the Training and Development of both WWKC and locally recruited staff within the clubs.
  • To ensure all on site Health and Safety policies, procedures and risk assessments are in place, operational and updated as necessary.
  • To step in operationally as and when needed to cover for breaks, sickness or holidays.
  • Prepare financial information on a weekly basis.
  • Co-ordinate client contact details including all details of children’s allergies and preferences and create and maintain databases.
  • Plan and execute all activities and entertainments. Be proactive and imaginative in ideas for special promotions.
  • Assist the WWKC Operations Manager in maintaining staff databases and correspondence.
  • Manage the Staff Rota, hours and holiday entitlements.
  • Control the stocks of art materials and consumable equipment.

Requirements:

  1. Previous management experience.
  2. Professional and positive attitude.
  3. Excellent guest relations and customer service skills.
  4. A good communicator who is adaptable resourceful, patient and diplomatic.
  5. Team player essential.
  6. Childcare experience.
  7. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Childcare Qualification (not required for all RM roles)
