As I write we are still at Porto Sani but it was the last day for our children Felix and Alba at the Melissa Club. It was a great stay for both kids; For Felix especially it was his best club experience (last year we had tears at Club Med every day) and he especially loved Vernell, Alina and Alla. We liked the fact that there was a good mix of outdoor sports and free play (he is more the colouring in/cutting out sort of boy so it was good to see him exposed to something else).

Alba was a bit harder but this was just her not wanting to relinquish us and I klnow she stopped crying shortly after we left. Paul was especially lovable with her and she loved cuddling him! Staff in her group were lovely too and my husband reported that, viewed from his jogs around the resort that there was always lots of singing, happy beach outings etc.

We felt relaxed about leaving them there and therefore also had a holiday. Thanks for the operation that you run. This is just one incentive we need to return next year.

I wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how impressed I was with the staff and facilities in the Almyra hotel where we have just returned from vacation with our 11 month old daughter Isabella (5th to 12th June). I cannot praise these facilities enough - they would surely obtain an 'outstanding' ofsted. The room was lovely and light and airy and the separate sleep room and outside area were a nice touch. The staff were fabulous - my little girl doesn't really enjoy nursery at home so we booked a few sessions (some morning and some afternoon) thinking we may have to cancel them (24 hour cancellation) as of course we wouldn't have sent her on holiday if she didn't enjoy it. She loved it, so much so we added some sessions - it gave another element to our day (adult time) and her day too (freedom playing with other kids and all the toys!). The staff were wonderful friendly and approachable and our little girl bonded with them immediately we mainly dealt with Katie, Rachel and Melanie. Also - babysitting was great - we had a couple of evenings out on our own Erika was our babysitter and she was lovely. I wish I could have taken Erika or any of the staff home to be our babysitter here.
