Gran Melia Daios Cove is a luxurious new resort in Crete just 50 minutes from Heraklion airport. There are 261 rooms and suites plus 39 villas. The smallest room is a very generous 42m2 and all rooms offer a spectacular view of the private bay. Most suites and villas have private seawater swimming pools and private terraces.

CHILDCARE INFO...

The Daios Creche and Kids Club is a purpose designed children’s entertainment area, for indoor and outdoor play. There is a garden area overlooking the bay with a decked terrace for shade. Indoors there are separate areas for babies and toddlers along with large indoor space for arts and crafts and all sorts of indoor play opportunities.

Our aim for each child is for them to make some friends, learn some new skills, have fun and enjoy their holiday in a safe and happy environment.

• The Daios Creche and Kids Club open on 25th April until 31st October 2011. (closed on Wednesdays). Both creche and kids club will be open 7 days per week in peak season (from 15th June until 15th September).
• Sessions run from 10am - 1pm and 3pm until 6pm.
• Daios Creche for children aged 4-23 months = €30 per session or €45 for 2 sessions in one day. This is charged directly to your room and payable at the end of your holiday.
• Daios Creche for children aged 2-4 years €22 per session or €35 for 2 sessions in one day This is charged directly to your room and payable at the end of your holiday.
• Daios Kids Club for children aged 4-12 years is a complimentary service.
• Evening babysitting can be requested in advance. For prior requests this will be confirmed on arrival in resort. This is subject to staff availability. Babysitting costs €10 per hour, €14 per hour for 2 children, and €15 per hour for 3 children. For more than 3 children you will be required to additional babysitters. Babysitting is payable directly to babysitters.

WWKC operate The Daios Creche and Kids Club, with plenty of activities to keep even the youngest children occupied. The club rooms are divided into three to accommodate different age ranges and specific age related activities. WWKC also provides evening activities with fun filled nights including mini discos on the beach, talent shows and pyjama parties.
