Position: WWKC Crèche Supervisor

Based: Overseas

Responsibilities:

  • To manage the day to day running of the Crèche within the client hotel or resort for children 6 months - 3years
  • To assist and occasionally deputize for the Resort Manager.
  • To respond in to incoming enquiries via the resort in a professional and timely manner.
  • To be responsible for the safety and welfare of the children within your care.
  • Manage the crèche assistants working alongside you.
  • Create an exciting timetable of activities and play ideas for the children within your specified age group.
  • To decorate your designated area in a way that is both welcoming and stimulating to the children and their parents.
  • Be available for babysitting duties as and when required.
  • To liaise directly with parents of the children who are attending the crèche.
  • To assist with the training and development of locally recruited staff within the clubs.
  • To ensure all on site health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments are in place, operational and updated as necessary.
  • Meet and brief with own staff team on a daily basis.
  • Plan and execute all activities and entertainments. Be proactive and imaginative in ideas for special promotions.
  • Inform WWKC Resort Manager of any equipment and supplies shortages and make request for additional stocks.
  • To be fully involved in the day to day running of the crèche.

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  2. Experience of handling sensitive childcare issues.
  3. Relevant crèche or Nanny experience.
  4. Management experience.
  5. Endless enthusiasm and a professional and positive attitude towards providing a first class service.
  6. Excellent guest relations and customer service skills.
  7. A good communicator who is adaptable resourceful, patient and diplomatic.
  8. Team player essential.
